Pre AGM Board Meeting took place on 22nd August 2022 before AGM at UKBCCI office.
A well attended and positive meeting ensued regarding the AGM & Election. The Election Commissioner Ms Rohema Miah announced the election results at the Board Meeting.
BBLBC – Building Bridges for Local Businesses and Communities event took place on Wednesday 13th July 2022. The event was organised by Venture Helpers and UKBCCI London Region was a partner organisation to organise the event. A successful event enabling local businesses to meet under one roof, learning about the different businesses out in the communities, opportunities for recruitment and training support as well as networking opportunities.
The event welcomed the Speaker of London Borough of Tower Hamlets, Cllr Shafi Ahmed and a known Author and International Speaker, Shay McConnon. Both distinguished guest speakers engaged with the audience well and were delighted to be part of the event.
Following this successful event, discussions are taking place in respect of the next BBLBC -Building Bridges for Local Businesses and Communities event. We have been overwhelmed by the number of business who have reached out wanting to attend the next BBLBC event.
UKBCCI Directors had a fruitful meeting with the Mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation, Mr Atiqul Islam at the Mayor’s office at Dhaka today on 20th June.
The Attendees were, Bajloor Rashid MBE, Director & First President, Oli Khan MBE, London Regional President, Showkat Aziz Russell, Bangladesh Regional President, Tipu Rahman and Yasser Yousuf.
They had a productive discussion on Trade & Investment and to connect & building bridges between UK & Bangladesh.
