Congratulations to our chairman Iqbal Ahmed OBE. On the 26th July he was graciously presented with the Honorary Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Award at The Manchester Metropolitan University, during the Ceremony of Awards held at the Bridgewater Hall. The ceremony was attended by 2000 people and saw the presentation of 600 new graduates from the School of Business and Law.
Last Monday, 24th July, UKBCCI were proud to ‘Press Launch’ the second and what is now the annual UKBCCI Business & Entrepreneur Excellence Awards 2017 at Radisson Blu Edwardian, Canary Wharf, London. It was well received with an excellent turnout made up of the media, eminent business people, members and special guests. The Awards will be held on 15th October at the Hilton on Park Lane. On behalf of UKBCCI, I would like to extend my deepest condolences for Haji Rais Miah who passed away yesterday morning.

He was a member of UKBCCI, a kind and caring man, and was a very active part of our community.
May Allah grant him the highest ranking in Jannah InshaAllah. We will keep him in our duas.
